Categorize bank statement transactions with a simple upload. No bank connection, no usernames and no passwords needed. BudgetPeeps requires no manual entries, no reformatting.
A quick look at uploading a statement, categorizing transactions, and setting a budget.
Export a bank statement via CSV, XLSX, QBO, QFX or QIF. Be sure to select the date range that you wish. Upload or drop your file. From there BudgetPeeps will work its magic. Each file will be automatically read and organized.
Once a bank statement is uploaded, categorize the transactions as needed. BudgetPeeps automatically categorizes every other transaction that's alike, and future statement uploads categorize themselves based on what's been categorized before. Categorize transactions as Money Going Out & Money Coming In.
Set monthly limits per category. A progress bar keeps track as spending lands. The budgets will turn ledger green to brick red. An overview of spending can be seen month by month. This will keep things up to date at any given time.
When a ledger is completed, export it as a CSV, XLSX, PDF, PNG or JPEG. Whatever's currently in view — a month, a category, or the whole ledger — is exactly what gets exported. This can easily help with bills, taxes and keeping records as needed.
Personal and Business are separate portals with their own tools. Pick the one that matches what you're tracking, or use both.
